At Lotus, we provide grounded, elevated and prenatal yoga classes.
Below is a sampling of the yoga classes you will find on our schedule. Please keep in mind, class offerings vary depending on demand and teacher availability. Please check the schedule to choose your desired class.
Prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Beyond a way to relax and stay fit, prenatal yoga can also help you prepare for birth and promote your baby’s health. Research suggests that prenatal yoga can improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, increase flexibility, strength and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth, and decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath.
Additionally, prenatal yoga at Lotus allows you to build a community of soon-to-be mommies. One of our members had this to say about our classes: ““I loved the classes – I received the biggest benefit from simply being surrounded by a community of supportive women.”
Vinyasa Flow is for the participant who enjoys a more active style of yoga! This is a strong, dynamic breath to movement flow class that will start with basic postures and progress to an increase in physical, mental and emotional flexibility and strength. The class is sure to challenge you regardless of your level. Participants are required to bring a mat (or rent one from Lotus) and wear comfortable clothing. Vinyasa Express is ideal class during your lunch break! Land on your mat, set your intention and build momentum moving breath to movement. Find fluidity, strength & balance. Rejuvenate your mind.
